Hello everyone, and welcome to the new blog for the LGBTQ Resource Center at University of Wisconsin-Green Bay!
Considering how our center is only a few months old, a lot of our work will be aimed towards getting the physical center up and running with the things we need to reach out to, inform, and successfully interact with queer students on this campus. We have our space, and it is mostly decorated (though that’s variable as well because we’ve got a chalkboard wall). We’ve had a few books donated as well.
So far, there’s a lot that’s still to be done, but we do have interns and staff in the office:
Monday: 1:00 PM-5:00 PM
Tuesday: 11:00 PM-4:00 PM
Wednesday: 4:30 PM-8:00 PM
Thursday: 1:00 PM-5:00 PM
Friday: 12:00 PM-2:00 PM
So stop in to just hang out or if there are issues or concerns that need to be addressed, personal or otherwise, please stop in.
Thank you!

So glad to have physical and virtual presence on campus. It is so important that a hidden, marginalized community can finally be visable. Having a physical presence is already mobilizing students and faculty that is benefiting the campus community and beyond!
Tahnk you! :)
Thank you to everyone who have put their time and energy into providing a location where individuals who provide support to the GBLTQ students, staff and faculty, can meet and learn more about GBLTQ issues or concerns.
